Description

The Northern Rivers Young Professionals Network is back for 2026!

We're on a mission to support, retain and attract the best minds in the region - our emerging and future business, industry and entrepreneurial leaders.

You are invited to be part of one of our most inspiring Business NSW Regional Leader initiatives, the Northern Rivers Young Professionals Network.

Launched in December 2025, the network established with over 70 young professionals from across the region aged 21–39 exploring the topic of Leadership.

Business NSW, along with program initiative partners Southern Cross University, TURSA and Ballina RSL are excited to be bring 4 professional development and connection events across a range of topics to the group this year.

We invite you to our next session on accelerating your AI skills to boost productivity - and we encourage you to invite other young professionals in the region to come along too.

Following the professional development session we have a panel of Young Professionals Network members sharing what they do in their roles and what they enjoy about the Northern Rivers (yes a local secret or two may also be shared).

AI is rapidly transforming the way organisations operate and professionals who understand how to use it effectively are becoming some of the most valuable contributors in enterprise today.

In this practical and engaging 1.5-hour workshop, Northern Rivers Young Professionals will accelerate their use of AI tools to think more strategically, work more efficiently and communicate ideas with greater clarity and impact. The session focuses on real workplace applications that participants can take straight back to their roles.

Facilitated by Elizabeth Griffiths, Founder and CEO of WELLCOME AI, this session will equip attendees with practical AI techniques and professional tools they can apply immediately - strengthening both their own capability and the value they deliver to their employer.
