Northern Tasmania Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Course
Event description
The FPA and Lyndon O’Neill, a member of the Aboriginal Heritage Council and founder of Healthy Country Services and Consulting, are jointly delivering training on Tasmanian Aboriginal cultural heritage.
The course will consist of half a day of presentations and a field trip to a nearby Aboriginal quarry.
The course will be useful for:
- FPOs who wish to access the AHT Conserve Aboriginal Heritage database but have not attended a recent Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Course.
- Managers who have access to the AHT Conserve Aboriginal database by virtue of their manager status but wish to learn more about Aboriginal heritage.
- FPOs who have been recommended by the FPA to update their Aboriginal cultural heritage knowledge.
- Planners who wish to increase their knowledge of Aboriginal cultural heritage.
Where: Paton Park Scouts Hall, 630 Allison Rd, 630 Allison Rd, North Motton TAS 7315
When: Wednesday, 13 September 2023, 9:30 am to 3:30 pm
Cost: Forest practices system learner: $480 plus GST and booking fee
External learner: $560 plus GST and booking fee
