Northern Territory State of the Regions Presentation

It's that time again when .id (Informed Decisions) will be releasing their annual State of the Region’s economic dataset.  This national dataset, released annually, provides up-to-date economic and employment data for every Local Government Authority (LGA) and Regional Development body in Australia, including the Northern Territory. 

With the changes in economic conditions over the last year this dataset will help to unpack how this effects your local region and how we can move forward understanding what’s driving your local economy.  

Following the presentation, Economic Development Specialist Katrina Paterson from .id will provide an introduction to the .id demographic tools.  This session will;

• provide an introduction to the .id demographic resource tools
• show you how to get data on your LGA’s population, employment, industries and more
• show you how you can model the potential economic impacts of particular projects and events in your region
• show you how you can use other economic modelling tools to analyse your regions strengths and weaknesses, and to identify potential growth sectors in your regions
