Northern U15 & U17 Championships 2023

Welcome to the registration page for the 2023 Fencing North U15 and U17 age banded competitions!
We look forward to meeting you on Sunday12 March at the Netball Waitakere Centre, Te Pai Place, Henderson.
We’re holding these competitions earlier this year because Fencing NZ have scheduled the National U15 and U17 Championships on the weekend of April 22-23.
Eligibility
To enter the U15 competitions you will need to be 14 or under on 1 Jan 2023.
To enter the U17 (cadet) competitions you will need to be 16 or under on 1 Jan 2023.
The competitions are suitable for experienced and more recent fencers - We’re planning a fun day!
Because these are our regional age banded championships, you will be able to earn points towards a national ranking and we will be awarding medals to the top four in each event.🥇🥈🥉🥉

STANDARD REGISTRATION ends at 23.55h on Wednesday 8th March 2023 and is $25.00 plus booking and cc fees.
Late entry is $45.00 plus booking and cc fees. They are subject to availability and at the discretion of the DT. Cut off is the Thursday before the competition (March 9th at 23.55h)
Out of Town Entries
This applies to any fencer who does not reside in Auckland.
Out of towners get a free standard registration. Please use promo code OUTS25 for a standard registration and OUTL20 for a late registration which is $20.00 + cc fees.
Weapons Checking
We will not be doing a full gear check before this competition BUT referees will be employing Weights and Gauges to check Weapons at the piste.
NZ National U15 and U17 Championships in April - gear check WILL be in place for these.

Multiple Weapon entries
Please contact us first if you are wanting to enter multiple weapons in an age category - this is a 1 day competition and we are running a full range of events in two age bands so may not be able to offer this opportunity.
If Affiliation/Membership
To compete in Fencing North competitions you must be affiliated with Fencing New Zealand as a full competitive member. The FeNZ membership starts on 01/JAN and lasts a calendar year. Please always sign up with the same name, otherwise we cannot find you and accredit ranking points.
FeNZ affiliation fees are additional to the competition entry.
