THE LINE-UP ...

Peter Berner: Peter is without a doubt one of Australia's most respected comics and broadcasters, having performed his unique brand of comedy across Australia for nearly three decades and hosted iconic television and radio programs. His intelligent humour has always set him apart as a performer who can comfortably straddle comedy styles as disparate as satire, observational comedy and reactive comedy with ease.

Peter's major TV hosting roles have been ABC TV’s Backberner, The Einstein Factor, The Loaded Brush, The Comedy Channel’s You Have Been Watching, Sky News Live’s The B Team with Peter Berner and the Australian Film Institute Awards. All up he has presented more than 500 hours of national television program content in varying genres including comedy, news and documentary in live and taped environments.

On FM radio, Peter was co-host of Triple M's breakfast show, The Cage, which was networked live each day along the east coast, and has also hosted his own solo radio show, The Peter Berner Experiment. On AM radio he hosted weekend afternoons on 2UE.

A talented artist and cartoonist, Peter is a graduate of the National Art School who has exhibited his work in galleries across the world. In 2018 Peter was nominated as a finalist for the prestigious  Archibald Prize for his self-portrait, titled Self Portrait with Hindsight. On being nominated as a finalist, Peter said, "When I received the email telling me I had been selected I confess I was stunned. Thrilled. It took a moment to sink in. And then I wondered if the Nigerians had gotten into scamming painters as anew business model. It is one of the greatest things to have happened to me.”

Peter released his first book in 2015 titled The Book of He, which was a collection of original humorous illustrations about modern life from the perspective of a very ordinary man. This was soon followed by the release of a sequel, The Book of They, in September 2017. The Book of They is an 80-page look at relationships and coupledom, complete with Berner’s brand of observational comedy.

Peter Green: One of the most experienced stand up comedians on the circuit, Peter Green first performed comedy in 1988 at the legendary “Comics In The Park” at the Harold Park Hotel. He has since told jokes at every major comedy venue in Australia and New Zealand.

Peter is also a very much in-demand comedy writer and he has written for some of Australia’s best comedy shows including Australia’s Funniest Home Videos, the TV Week Logies and Game of Games. He is a major contributor to satirical websites The (un)Australian and Bobvulture.

Remember ‘The Far Side’ comic strip by Gary Larson? Well Peter has been called ‘The Gary Larson of Stand-up Comedy’ due to his off-beat observations and whimsical views of the world. Peter placed equal first in the NSW final of JJJ RAW Comedy in 1998. Peter is the author of two comedy books: ‘Are Youse The Comoydians?‘ (Published 2011), ‘Bad Hobbits‘ (Published 2012).

Patrick Golamco: Chinese-Australian stand-up comedian. He has performed his solo show all around Australia, including the Sydney Comedy Festival, Sydney Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe and Perth Fringe festivals. His show blends musical comedy on his electronic keyboard with insightful one liners, and accentuates his introverted persona. He represented NSW in the National RAW comedy competition this year and was the runner-up.

Patrick is also educated in acting, improv and scriptwriting, having trained with AMAW and completed several courses with LMA (Laugh Master’s Academy). He has won awards in several script writing competitions, including the Scriptapalooza TV competition, for comedy.

Jess Fuchs: Sydney born comedian who put in her 10,000 hours in New York City. Now back and living with her parents, Jess revels in every opportunity to be on stage, or anywhere that isn’t home. Seeing Jess on stage is akin to a late night Maccas run: chaotic, desperate, the most fun you've had all week.

Julia Wilson: Described by many as the toughest woman in comedy, Julia tours the world with her dubious morals, having plenty of seriously dangerous fun along the way!Whether it’s being bitten by a lion, stalked by a hippo, getting burnt by a burning hot gun cartridge, or being accosted by an armed hold up convict, Julia has acquired plenty of scars, and certainly isn’t afraid to share them with you! Julia doesn’t just take to the stage, she owns it.

Her unique style of storytelling is delivered with such honesty and at a blisteringly energising pace that a shirt full of sore ribs is guaranteed!Julia has headlined comedy events all over the world, thrilling audiences in Britain, Australia, South Africa, Croatia, Germany and Canada with her dynamic, gutsy performances on stage, tv, radio and film.
