Nostalgia Night: Decoupage Tea Lights

CALLING ALL KIDS OF THE '90s AND EARLY '00s!!! Do you spend your days dreaming of Blockbuster and Britney Spears? Do you spend your nights fondly recalling your Furby and Fresh Prince? And perhaps most relevantly: do you miss doing the arts & crafts of your youth? SCRAP is thrilled to present Nostalgia Night: a bi-monthly craft club for sentimental, kinda-dorky, kinda-crafty adults who'd #rather be reminiscing. 📼🛼📺🎞️👾🕹️☎️🎸💿💾🖍📺🛍🍭🍡🖇️ Drop-in between 4 to 7 to get crafty!

This Friday's throwback craft is... Decoupage Tea Lights! Decoupage used to be THE thing back in the day. We particularly love decoupage tea lights because 1) fall is here and candles are so cozy and righteous in this season and 2) this method of decoupage, on clear glass lit from within, really lets your work shine. Ha. We love to layer up vintage sheet music and postage stamps, but you can do it with magazine clippings and words, too. Then let it glow!! 🕯 

Ages 18+.

To reserve your spot/seats in before the event, tickets can be purchased in advance through Humanitix for a slight discount ($10 plus fees). Tickets sold at the door are $12. SCRAP prioritizes access to affordable art materials and expressions, so if the ticket price poses a hardship, please select the Sliding Scale ticket type on Humanitix. All event ticket sales are final and non-refundable. If you cannot make it to the event, please feel free to send a friend in your place. If you are unable to do that, we still cannot refund your ticket, but you could think of your payment as supporting our SCRAPpy little creative reuse non-profit!
