Not Just Future Leaders: Youth-Led Climate Solutions

Young people aren’t just tomorrow’s leaders. They have a right to shape climate decisions today. Join the Macquarie University Environmental Law Research Centre for a one-day student competition. In teams of 3-4, you’ll design a practical mechanism that gives young people real decision-making power in Australian climate governance.

With guidance from expert mentors, you’ll research the challenge, create a one-page infographic, and pitch your solution to a panel of expert judges. Prizes are $400, $300 and $200 for the top 3 teams.
