Join chamber choir Nota Bene as we celebrate 20 years of delighting audiences in Wellington and beyond!
Nota Bene's founder Christine Argyle joins current music director Maaike Christie-Beekman and conductors Shawn Condon and Peter Walls to present some of their favourite choral repertoire. From Purcell to David Hamilton, Schubert to Lauridsen, and Arvo Pärt to Fergus Byett, the conductors have chosen works that hold special meaning for them and for the choir.
Enjoy the moving simplicity of Es ist ein Ros entsprungen (Praetorius/ Sandström), the cheerful exuberance of Instructions for how to get ahead of yourself while the light shines (Parsons) and the gentle Abendlied (Rheinberger).
