Exhibition Opening | Nothing to Write Home About
Description
This project is being developed through Munimba-ja’s Blak Creatives program and will bring together artists working across expanded and cross-disciplinary practices. The exhibition explores ideas around accessibility, decolonial exhibition-making, relational practice, architecture, expanded cinema, sensory experience and what can exist beyond the traditional “white cube” gallery model.
Featuring Brenda Mau, Clea North, Keely Eggmolesse, Lexie Abel, Nadine McDonald Dowd, Desirai Saunders and Tanika Orr, curated by Libby Harward
This is a free event, and all are welcome to attend, engage and explore, respectfully. There will be a licenced bar with non-alcoholic options.
ACCESSIBILITY: The gallery is wheelchair accessible from the Brunswick St entrance.
If you have any specific access needs or questions, please either email admin@outerspacebrisbane.org or send us a message on Instagram.
