Event description

About

This session is about reclaiming the messages given to us by our age-old instincts and gut reactions. We’ll explore through body-work what ‘no’ feels like, and the importance this holds in making more intuitive and informed choices, and how this assists in cultivating more authentic relationships.

Included activities before and after the workshop

To assist Sheridan in tailoring the event to attending participants, a preparatory survey will be provided prior to the event via email.

To aide with ongoing practice and learning, an optional integration check-in with Sheridan (via Zoom) is included, and provided 1 month after the event.

Types of outcomes that previous participants have experienced

  • Feeling more confident making everyday decisions
…like what to wear, eat, or say—without second-guessing themselves.

  • Experiencing less resentment in relationships
…because they’re no longer constantly crossing their own boundaries to avoid conflict.

  • Navigating hard conversations with more ease
…knowing they don’t need to explain or over-justify their no.
  • Recovering more quickly from overwhelm or emotional labor
…by recognising when they’ve reached capacity—and honoring it.

  • Feeling less anxious about “what others think”
…because they’re no longer abandoning themselves to be liked or accepted.
