Enter into the exclusive scene of the salons of Paris in the late 18th century, where wealthy, connected women hosted weekly and sometimes nightly soirees in their homes. These famous and well-respected "Salonnières" controlled the flow of philosophical, scientific and political ideas and became important patrons to some of the best known musicians in Europe.
