NOURISH - Topic Courageous Leadership

Nourish is a day for Victorian Baptist pastors and spouses.

This October, Nourish is about Courageous Leadership - not the kind of courage that means having no fear, but the kind that chooses faithfulness when leadership feels difficult, uncertain or costly.

The courage to dream. To lift our eyes beyond survival and imagine what God might do through our churches and ministries.

The courage to lead. To have the conversations that matter, speak the truth in love, and lead our teams with both honesty and grace.

The courage to lead ourselves. To face what is happening within us, to be honest before God, and to have the conversations we might otherwise avoid.

This will be a different kind of Nourish. Rather than bringing in a guest speaker, we'll draw on the wisdom already in the room — hearing from pastors across the Union, sharing stories, asking honest questions, and learning from one another.

This day is for you. Come and lift your eyes, find courage for the places where leadership feels costly, and be reminded that you don't lead alone. There will be space to think, talk, pray, laugh and simply be with other pastors.

If you are unable to make it to the venue we are offering a live streaming option to watch the conference and then connect with others who are also online during the breakout/discussion times.

Requirements: Access to a computer to watch the live stream and connect to a zoom meeting.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS WORKSHOP - 

Topic: The Power We Hold and the People We Serve: Boundaries in Pastoral Leadership

Every pastor holds real power in the lives of the people they serve and healthy ministry depends on how carefully we steward it. This workshop explores how boundary drift happens, the warning signs worth noticing early, and the practices that keep our pastoral relationships whole.

Please note this PSW is for in person attendance only, it will not be streamed online but will be videoed and offered later as a online PSW. 
Attendance at Professional Standards Workshops will count towards BUV Pastoral Accreditation.
