This movement/body-based mini workshop is designed to:

  • deepen your connection to your body (with grounding techniques)
  • better understand your stress and the way your nervous system functions (a little education)
  • offer gentle ways to bring you back to a place of balance and ease (moving through the stress and discharge cycle)

We can't get away from stress, but we can choose how we respond to it. Your body already has its own in-built system to de-stress and come back to balance, and in this workshop, you will reconnect to this intelligence inside of you, and be able to ground, release stress, and reach a state of deep rest. 

This workshop incorporates techniques from Body Psychotherapy and TRE (tension release exercises) and is suitable for anyone that is curious about their body.

Please bring water, a blanket, pillow/cushion to create a nest for yourself, a journal & pen if you like to journal. 

Please wear clothes you can move in and bring something warm for when we move into the rest phase. 

Located upstairs of Yoga in the Lanes.
