Event description

As we step into the depths of winter, a season that invites us to slow down, gather close, and reflect, I want to personally invite you to a special gathering—a day to nourish not only your body, but your soul.

Join us on January 4th, 2025, for a truly transformative experience, designed for women like you—who are seeking to reconnect with themselves, with food, and with one another in the warm embrace of winter. This isn't just another workshop. It’s a chance for us to come together in a sacred, communal space, where we can share stories, savor nourishing food, and experience the quiet magic that happens when we truly slow down and make time for ourselves.

We will gather around the hearth with the incredible Terry Walters, an award-winning cookbook author, wellness educator, and chef who will guide us through a day of intentional cooking. As we step into this cozy space, you’ll be welcomed with a warm cup of chai and invited to slip into your slippers, easing into the comfort and sisterhood of the day ahead. This is your time to reset, to reflect, and to replenish—body and soul.

Together, we will prepare a seasonal stew and a side dish that nourishes not only our bodies but our hearts. Terry’s expertise, honed over 24 years of working with food and wellness, will show us how to approach cooking as a mindful practice—where every ingredient becomes a tool for self-care and healing. Through this experience, you’ll gain not just new recipes, but the knowledge of how to cook with intention, how to embrace the rhythm of slow living, and how to nourish your unique needs with every meal you create.

But this day is about so much more than just food. As we chop, stir, and share stories over the stove, we will also share wisdom, experiences, and reflections. This is a space to connect with like-minded women, to open your heart, and to feel the power of sisterhood as we support each other in our journeys. It’s a day for healing, for realigning with our inner wisdom, and for remembering that we are worthy of care and attention in this often-overlooked season of rest.

When we sit down to share our meal, it will not only be a time to savor the fruits of our labor, but also a time to honor the stories and experiences that make us who we are. As we break bread, we will create a sacred space—an intentional pause in the busy world, where we can offer each other support, inspiration, and understanding.

We hope you’ll join us in this deeply nourishing experience. Let us unite in embracing the serene beauty of winter, taking the opportunity to slow down and appreciate the profound impact of nurturing ourselves, each other, and the foods that sustain us.

We look forward to sharing this day with you, as we cook, connect, and nourish our souls through food—and through the warmth of community.

This class will be plant-forward, gluten-free, and empowering to body and mind.
