Nourishing First Foods for your Baby - the When, What and Why of starting solids

A parent information session with Sissy Taufika of Absolute Potential Health & Performance, hosted by Caloundra Community Centre Family Support Program, held at the Baringa Community Centre.
In the this session, you’ll learn: Â
• How to know if your baby is ready to start solids • What nutrients your baby needs for optimal development • Which foods are best to start with • What is baby-led weaning (BLW) and is it for you • What foods are unsafe or not ideal for babies • Dealing with food allergies & sensitivities • How your baby's eating habits affect their later health • Safe feeding guidelines & how to reduce choking risk • Plus Q & A 's
Registration will commence at 1030am with the Information Session starting at 1045am.
Please only register yourself, as accompanying babies are welcome and do not require a ticket.
Prams -As we are wanting to maximise the participant numbers to be able to attend this information session, prams will need to be parked outside the playroom, (where they are still visible from within the room). We apologise for the inconvenience, but are prioritising being in an airconditioned space.
