    More about the facilitator
    Sharn has been designing and delivering mindfulness courses and retreats since 2013. She has twice been scholar-in-residence at the Garrison Institute for Contemplative Practice in New York. Sharn has taught meditation and mindfulness to more than 2000 people and has led mindfulness retreats, workshops and short courses in Australia, Bali, USA, Slovenia, Norway and Samoa.  Since 2019 her work has focussed on designing and delivering mindfulness-based professional development  for organisations committed to staff wellbeing and an inclusive workplace culture.

    Sharn has had a dedicated daily mindfulness practice for more than twenty years. Her practice and teaching are informed by the teachings and retreats she has attended with some of the great meditation masters and mindfulness exponents of our time, including Thich Nhat Hanh, HH Dalai Lama, Mingyur Rinpoche, Chokyi Nyima, Tsoknyi Rinpoche and Lama Choedak. 

    Throughout this special annual retreat at The Old Monastery Stroud retreat, Sharn will share insights and understandings gleaned from her decades of teaching, study and practice that have focussed on bringing mindfulness to life wherever you are and loving the life you live.
