Whether you've just started dating or been married for years, I invite you to gather together for this full day Authentic Relating workshop designed specifically for romantic relationships to cultivate the trust, empathy, empowerment and nourishment that is possible within the unique specimen of your togetherness.

As a couple among couples, you will journey through a series of Authentic Relating & Conscious Touch exercises that will give you the opportunity to play as well as deepen your relationship. By the end of this workshop, you will understand one another's perspectives even better, encouraging you to respond more effectively to their needs as well as yours.

❤️‍🔥Authentic Relating is a ground breaking social technology that enables you to heartfully, playfully and courageously connect, using the tools of radical honesty and active listening. The practice invites you to drop deeper into presence, embodied awareness and permission to express whatever is alive within you and the ‘we-space’ between you and other(s).

💆Conscious Touch is the practice of bringing full attention and presence into relating physically to another person. In deeper awareness of our desires and boundaries, we will explore the co-regulating potential of loving touch.

💕 This workshop is open to all couples: opposite-sex, same-sex, nonbinary, monogamous, polyamorous, and more.

About the facilitator:

Laurie (he/him), is a queer British-Kiwi who’s current home-base is Wellington, NZ. His passion is creating spaces that cultivate healthy, thriving human-to-human relationships, helping people take off their masks, feel their sensations and celebrate their aliveness on Earth. Since 2019, he has organised and facilitated hundreds of Authentic Relating, Dating and Embodiment workshops in Oceania and Europe.

His training includes The Embody Lab, Authentic Revolution, and Connection Institute. He has facilitated at internationally acclaimed festivals such as Stretch and Ignite, and organisations such as ART International and Authentic Bay Area.

His experience includes working with Highly Sensitive People (HSPs); neurodiverse people; people suffering from anxiety and depression; people going through major life shifts; and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Cost:

Three Earlybird tickets are available for $195 per couple.

Regular ticket price is $260 per couple.

Latebird (one week or less before workshop) ticket price is $300 per couple.

Where: Wellington Meditation Centre, 31 Hobson Crescent, Thorndon, Wellington 6011, New Zealand.

When: Sunday 10th November, 11am to 6pm.

Dresscode: Comfortable clothing that's easy to move in. The venue is shoes off.

Food: There are tea, coffee & snacks provided. Please bring your own lunch, otherwise there are nearby places where you can find a range of food options.

Refunds: Full refund if cancelled more than three weeks before the workshop. 50% refund if cancelled between three and one weeks before the workshop. No refund if cancelled one week or less before the workshop.
