Event description

Japanese ingredients mixed with Syrian ingredients? Yes, you heard that right! On Sunday 9th November, two extraordinary chefs - Racha Abou-Alchamat from Racha's Syrian Kitchen, who's been featured on SBS' The Cook Up with Adam Liaw, and Naoya Shimada, former owner of Surry Hills' Sando Bar and currently at Paramount Coffee Project, will take you across from the east to the southwest corners of Asia.

From Tokyo to Damascus, with Love features a 7-course menu which includes 4 starters, 1 main course paired with a salad and finished with a dessert course. All this delicious food plus drinks served by Bloodwood guarantees a truly special night. What makes it more special is that every ticket you buy will be supporting our First Nations community members and people seeking asylum, $5 from each ticket will be split between two excellent charities - First Nations Response & the Asylum Seekers Centre.

Menu below, it has nuts, dairy and gluten. We can offer gluten-free options upon request. Unfortunately we can't cater to all dietary requirements. Vegetarian & pescetarian options are available. The chefs will take precautions to avoid cross-contamination, but all items are prepared in a common kitchen.

Limited spots, so make sure you book Early Bird tickets now.

Please note that we do communal seating at our events, think long tables where friends old and new chat over delicious food.
