ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

Govinda is the alter-ego of Austin based producer/composer Shane Madden. He began studying violin and composition at the age of eight and went on to study classical violin at the University of Texas where he fell in love with electronic music production. It was in Madden’s pursuit of his Middle-Eastern and Spanish roots that he opened his ears to music from around the world. From experiences learning violin with mysterious masters on his journeys across the globe and his passion for modern design and technology, the current sound of Govinda was born. Govinda has played with Thievery Corporation, Tipper, Bassnectar, Shpongle, Cheb I Sabbah, STS9 and many more and been featured on over 25 compilations such as Buddha Bar II, Asian Travels II, and Nirvana Lounge selling a combined 400,000copies. Govinda has played at numerous festivals throughout North America including Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, Sea of Dreams, Shambhala, Sonic Bloom, SXSW and more. Govinda's music has had many synchs on TV and independent films and has over 5 million Spotify plays to date. The Govinda show is truly a multi-sensory experience that immerses the audience with a textured exotic atmosphere which features mesmerizing vocals, visual performance artist Jordan Remar, live projections, live ambient Romani-style and uniquely crafted violin for a truly energetic and magical live presence.

Named by BBC Radio as “One of the most brilliant world-fusion producers of our time”, David Starfire is known as the pioneer of the Global Bass genre and psychedelic dance floor experiences at Burning Man. Billboard summed it up best, “David Starfire brings a unique perspective to EDM.”

David has performed at prominent festivals such as Winter Music Conference, Coachella, Outside Lands, Burning Man, Eclipse, and Lightning in a Bottle. He’s opened up for Skrillex, Diplo, collaborated with the likes of Afrika Bambaataa, Ram Dass, Sizzla, Alex Grey, William Close, and the Grammy Award-nominated vocalist Chaytanya, Ooah (The Glitch Mob) and Beats Antique member Sidecar Tommy. His Ascend album reached #7 on the iTunes World Music chart and he had two #1 remixes on the Hype Machine. He's traded remixes with CloZee, Desert Dwellers, iLL Gates, Beats Antique, and SOOHAN.

Argentinian Dj sensation, El Papachango has been at the forefront of the West Coast Bass music scene since co-founding the legendary performance and avant-garde production crew, El Circo in 2002. He brought with him a love of music from South America that he blends with west coast underground beats to create a groove that is unique and infectious wherever he goes. His sound is characterized by sexy, soulful banging Global Bass fusion, with a Latin sazon that is quintessential to his name. He has headlined the biggest Festival stages across US and Canada, such as Lightning In Bottle, Shambhala, Bass Coast, Symbiosis, and Burning Man, to name a few. The past year his performances have proven to be exceptionally electrifying since touring as a duo with live vocalist Dakini Star.

Sheena Medicina is a life-long dancer and Ecstatic Dance journey facilitator. She cooks up fresh mixes of uplifting soundscapes with hints of cumbia, twerk, bass, pop, psychedelic downtempo, tribal electronica, house, organic & world beats, with plenty of funk & throwback tracks in the mix and always a good healthy dose of feminine medicine.

Kallum conjures a fusion of cultures, both ancient and modern. He blends driving bass lines and rhythms with traditional instruments, vocals, and musical scales sampled from across our planet. His organic-electronic sounds amplify his wish to connect communities with the world’s palette through music, movement, and dance. His ambitions are grounded in Portland OR, continuing his education in music production, offering online DJ/Producer coaching, and live streaming during the pandemic.
