November Culture Night: Zimbabwean Drumming
Description
November Culture Night: Zimbabwean Drumming
Join us for an evening of stories, music, and cultural discovery with Scott Parker Mast, drumming instructor at Kutandara, as he shares stories and experiences from his time in Zimbabwe. Along the way, he'll teach some basic hand-drumming techniques and then jump into a few Zimbabwean drumming rhythms. You'll get a feel for the music through hands-on learning (literally!).
Whether you're curious about Zimbabwe, love a good story, or simply want to try something new, this is an opportunity to learn, listen, and make music together in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
With just 10 spaces available, this will be an intimate evening of shared stories and rhythms.
Come curious!
