This film, based on a documentary, follows two down-on-their-luck musicians who decide to rewrite their futures in middle age. Mike and Claire Sardina, were a real-life couple who blended their lives and talents to form Lightning & Thunder, a passionate Neil Diamond tribute band. The film traces their unexpected journey from small-scale county fair gigs toward the threshold of local stardom. Along the way, the couple must lean on each other and the uplifting power of music to navigate severe personal tragedies, health crises, and addiction recovery.
