November Sector Connect Event
Event description
About Penrith Sector Connect Events
This initiative was born in 2023 in response to requests from the community sector for more opportunities to build relationships across the diversity of services. Our aspiration is for Penrith to have the most connected community services sector in the West!
Our commitment is to deliver yearly opportunities to build the skills, knowledge and relationships across the sector.
What to expect in November 2025
How do we, organisations in the service of community, reimagine our role as agents of change? How do we create spaces for meaningful civic participation? What kind of transformative institutions, partnerships, and investments do we want to advocate for and be part of?
Jess Scully, author and advocate, will take us on a world tour of inspiration, drawing on local governments and community-led projects that explore innovative social and economic policies and effective community movements to address the climate and inequality crises we’re facing. The presentation will strike a balance between big picture, inspiration, and practical takeaways on how to apply key principles locally.
Join us for a morning of learning, collaborating, and connecting. More details on the exciting agenda will follow.
This event has limited capacity and fills up quickly, so please register your interest as soon as possible.
