The Social Good Exchange is an opportunity for changemakers in the Twin Cities to connect and collaborate with others in the social impact sector. We also leverage the Social Good Exchange to gather intentionally around the most pressing issues happening in the impact sector to build resilience and connection.

This Month's Feature:
Shelisa Demuth is the founder of LAUREL, an agency specializing in earned media strategy and public narrative development. For nearly a decade, she's helped startups and social impact ventures cut through the noise to earn coverage that drives measurable growth—working with organizations like Twin Cities Startup Week, WoodchuckUSA, Rewriting the Code, and dozens of mission-driven ventures building a better future.

Before breaking into small groups, Shelisa will deliver "Amplify Your Impact: Daily Habits for Consistent Coverage"—a tactical session revealing the daily habits and strategic moves that turn media relations from wishful thinking into reliable results. You'll learn what makes stories newsworthy, how to think like a journalist, and the exact timing strategies that maximize your chances of placement.

Intentionally held during Social Impact Week MN, this Social Good Exchange aims to give changemakers the tools to reach wider audiences during this major giving season.

Gain Meaningful Connections: Get to know fellow changemakers in the Twin Cities.

Experience Collaborative Support: Intentional small group time offers you the chance to share a specific challenge or need you're facing, and receive actionable feedback, resources, and ideas.

Continue the Conversation: Facilitators follow up on support offered to increase the resources and connections you gain from the Social Good Exchange.

BONUS: Every registered guest receives LAUREL's Earned Media Primer—your foundation for understanding what journalists want, how media tiers work, and why your pitch timing determines success.
