A night of corporate presentations and personal optimisation… but queer.
Following spots at NONSTOP WKND in 2023, Queer PowerPoint returns with a one-night-only standalone show featuring some of Melbourne’s most fun, obtuse and downright obsessive speakers. This experimental talks series brings together queer folks to explore and share an idea, current compulsion, or ongoing fascination using that most staid and ubiquitous of programming tools – PowerPoint.
Reclaiming and queering the corporate presentation from our straight capitalist overlords, co-creators Xanthe Dobbie and Harriet Gillies host this night of surprising stories, secret passions and starwipes.
Artists perform a unique, 10-minute performance lecture about…well, anything. The parameters? It must be queer—and accompanied by a Microsoft PowerPoint slideshow.
Come together to revel in the current strangeness with a digital tool from a simpler time.
