Nowanup Men and Young Mens Makura Camp
Event description
An opportunity for men and young men to connect with themselves, each other and Noongar culture and contribute to building a new Healing Mia Mia in the Nowanup learning and healing environment.
Timing: Arrive Friday mid-afternoon and depart early Sunday afternoon OR come when you can between those times.
Who can attend: This camp is open to men and young men with an interest in their journey as men in an environment of contributing and learning more about Noongar language and culture.
Catering: Provided – Community cooking help is appreciated
Donations: We appreciate donations towards materials for the working bees and future activities. Donations are tax deductible and can be made via https://gondwanalink.org/get-involved/donate.
What to bring: Please bring gloves, camping gear, clothing for cool, wet and cold conditions, your musical instruments. Chainsaw, trailer and pruning loppers if available
