Many not-for-profit organisations claim to be making a significant impact on the lives of their clients. However, very few organisations collect the data required to validate this claim. As Boards and Leadership teams are responsible for strategic decision-making, building your understanding of how impact is measured and the questions to ask is a vital skill.

Join Sandy Blackburn, Founder and Managing Director of Social Outcomes, whose organisation was engaged by the AICD to create the NFP directors guide 'Impact Measurement and Governance', as she offers insights and practical takeaways on pivotal NFP measurement. This exclusive keynote session will cover:

Defining Impact Measurement and Its Significance: Understand what impact measurement entails and why it is crucial for NFP organisations.
Impact Management vs. Impact Measurement Approaches: Learn the differences between managing and measuring impact and how each approach can benefit your organisation.
Board and Leadership Teams Role in Monitoring Organisational Effectiveness: Gain insights into the board's responsibility in overseeing and ensuring the effectiveness of organisational activities.
The Right Queries: Arm yourself with incisive questions that drive insightful answers and lead to better decision-making.

Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable knowledge, empowering you to enhance your organisation's impact. This session has been designed for Leaders, their Boards and management teams - so please invite your key collegues along as well.

Impact measurement and governance guide| An AICD resource for NFP Directors

AICD engaged Social Outcomes to develop this guide aimed at helping boards comprehend impact measurement within not-for-profit organisations. The guide introduces key concepts tailored to the responsibilities of non-executive directors.

This guide serves as an initial resource for NFP boards aiming to enhance their understanding of impact measurement and to communicate more effectively with beneficiaries, donors, communities, volunteers, employees, and other stakeholders. It outlines essential information for boards to establish a framework for managing, measuring, and reporting on their organisation's impact. DOWNLOAD GUIDE HERE
