The much loved NPS Trivia & games night is back for 2026!! This year promises to be as much fun as the last.....and some! 🎉🤩
This is the school's second biggest fundraiser of the year and also one of the best on the social calendar-it's not your average trivia night! Past years have featured figurine modelling competitions, spaghetti tower challenges, paper plane throwing, coin tossing games, live auctions and raffle prizes. You wont be sitting down all evening!
The 'goal' for this event is buying new reversible basketball/netball nets-pun intended! 🏀🏐
So don't miss it and get the babysitter booked and grab your tickets early for the best possible price! Early bird pricing Wednesday 15th July until midnight Wednesday 22nd July only!
It doesn't matter if you don't have a full team of 8...buy individual tickets and add your year level and we'll bring you all together for some healthy competition. Starting with the most tickets purchased in a year level will be rewarded!
If you'd rather chose your group then feel free to choose the table option and fill it yourselves as long as there are no more than 8 of you participating! 😉

- How long is the early bird pricing on ?
This is only available for the first week of sales so get in quick!!
Wednesday 15th July until midnight of Wednesday 22nd July.
Early ticket purchase makes organising the event a lot earlier and it very much appreciated by our parent volunteers.
- How many people per team/table?
Maximum of 8.
- Can I bring friends and family?
Absolutely! The more the merrier.
You don't have to have a child at NPS to be included in the fun.
- What if I don't have a team of 8?
It doesn't matter and don't let that put you off missing this great event!
You can just buy single tickets and state your year level and we will do our best to make up full teams and bring it all together :)
- What time does it start?
Doors opens at 6pm and the quiz starts promptly at 7pm.
- Where in Welcome to Thornbury is it?
We have a private room and bar which is at the back of the venue on the right hand side when you walk in the main entrance. There will be sign up to help you.
Please make sure you only buy drinks at our private bar, or we do not get the credit added to our minimum bar spend to avoid venue hire costs.
- Can I get food there?
Yes! You can order food throughout the evening from the food trucks as usual.
Food sales unfortunately aren't included in our bar minimum spend (we get free venue hire when the minimum spend is met which means more money back to NPS!)
Please make sure you buy all your drinks at our private bar and not the main bar-TIA!
- Can I join on the night?
Unfortunately, to make this event a success we really need to plan for the evening and knowing how many people are attending is essential for this. Ticket sales will close a few days prior to the event.
- What if I'm no good at Trivia?!
It's a Trivia and games night!
If you are more a creative, or perhaps an engineer, or just one of those lucky ones who always wins the raffle.....then this is also a night for you.
It's one of the best events in our social calendar and always loads of laughs, so regardless of your love for Trivia you are guaranteed to have a blast!
- What is the fundraising of this event going towards?
Our fundraising goal is $12k for reversible basketball/netball goals.

- What if I have kids in more than one year level?
Just select the year level of the parents you'd rather be seated with.
