    Event description

The popular and impactful Reconciliation Yarns return for 2024, focusing on the NRW theme, ‘Now More Than Ever’.

The yarning circles will be co-facilitated by an Aboriginal Leader and a reconciliation ally, creating a safe space to yarn about reconciliation and the 2024 NRW Theme, Now More Than Ever.

Join us to listen to others, to share your experiences, and to learn more about reconciliation and how we can all contribute towards a better future.

The Reconciliation Yarns are supported as a safe circle space for people to deeply listen and yarn.  To maintain a safe space and equal participation opportunity, we keep the attending numbers to a maximum of around 25.  For the online sessions we request that participants keep their cameras on to show respect to our guest co-facilitators and so we know who is online with us - we love to see everyone’s face and to be focused on reconciliation, together.  This supports all attendees to feel safe to share openly on the reconciliation topic.  To this end, we also request that attendees join us individually on their own computer/devices and avoid multiple people in meeting rooms etc. We look forward to yarning with you online!
