NSSN and Genesys Electronics || End-to-end Product development 101 Workshop - how to turn your lab prototype into a commercially ready device (UNSW)
Event description
Are you a researcher, a founder or a student who is interested in translating your proof-of-concept lab prototype or research idea, into a commercially realised product?
Genesys Electronics Design in conjunction with The NSW Smart Sensing Network and MTP Connect will provide an educational workshop lead by Genesys Co-CEO George Bou-Rizk and NSSN Electronics Engineer Kimi Izzo.
Learn how to turn your initial concept or lab prototype into a well-defined, robust proof-of-concept device, enabling a pathway towards mass manufacture and possible submission to the TGA/FDA (in the case of a medical device). You will be guided through the product development process, engineering best practice and technical/regulatory understanding, with learning supported by activities that reinforce the required optimised approach.
The seminar will touch on:
- Developing design inputs
- The A-to-Z of all major design and development tasks
- Design for manufacture principlesÂ
Catering will be provided and a detailed agenda to be sent closer to the date.
