NSW Alumni Event - Friendship Picnic

30 July is International Day of Friendship, celebrating the simplest shared spirit of human solidarity. The UN hopes celebrations will promote a dialogue among civilisations, solidarity, mutual understanding and reconciliation.

I’m sure most of us can relate our volunteer experience to these ideals and values. Let’s share them as Alumni and meet for a relaxed, family friendly picnic in Sydney’s inner west. Enmore Park has a great kids playground, an off-leash dog park and best of all a café across the road which has amazing coffee and supports bringing their delicious meals over to the park!

When: Sunday, 4 August 2024, 10.30am – 1.30pm
Where: Enmore Park – Victoria Rd opposite Leicester St

Bring your picnic blanket, camp chairs and whatever you wish to eat and drink. This event is not catered so bring your own picnic snacks and please come anytime (registration through Humanitix is preferred but not essential). Look for the Australian Volunteer Program banner, picnickers and me in my blue Australian Volunteers t-shirt.
