NSW Council of Deans of Education Conference 2024

Please join us for the 2024 NSW Council of Deans of Education annual one-day conference. The conference theme is ‘Equity in Education: From policy to the playground’, with a focus on equity, diversity, inclusion and associated issues including AI in education. The conference will interrogate these issues (and more) as well as explore ideas, solutions and opportunities for universities and school systems to enact positive change. 

Sessions include a range of expert speakers from schools, universities and the school sectors. The Hon Prue Car (Deputy Premier NSW) will open the conference, the keynote address will be delivered by Prof Mary O’Kane (Chair of the Australian Universities Accord), and we will hear the voices of school principals and in-service teachers as they discuss equity in education, including the role of AI and other key issues. 

There is an underground parking station beneath UTS Building 10 - see Interpark. There is limited timed on-street parking around the university.
