NSW Effective Animal Advocacy Workshop

The Australian Alliance for Animals is running an in-person and online community workshop focused on effective political advocacy in NSW, to help you advocate for animals directly with decision-makers.

Ben Anderson — the Alliance’s NSW Policy and Government Relations Lead — will provide an update on the key animal welfare commitments secured during the 2023 NSW state election, discuss the current political landscape, and outline campaign priorities as we prepare for the 2027 NSW state election, now less than a year away.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in a mock meeting with their “local MP” to build confidence and practice real-world advocacy skills in a supportive environment.
