FAQs

• Can I enter Sealife before 10am?

  Sealife does open at 9.30am, but we won’t be setup and able to register you in at this stage. We will be ready to go promptly at 10am, so we recommend not arriving before this time.

• Can we stay at Sealife after 2pm?

  Yes, you are welcome to stay and continue enjoying the aquarium until it closes at 5pm. Please note lunch will be available in the cafe at the end of the experience until 2pm and you will not be able to re-enter the aquarium once entering the cafe.

• Is there an area set aside for Brainwave Families?

  Yes. We will be setting up our Brainwave Hub in the cafe at the end of the sealife experience. We’ll be set up there with some activities from 12pm and we encourage you to enjoy your lunch with us. Please note you will not be able to re-enter the Sealife experience from the cafe.

• Will there be free food provided?

  Yes, everyone coming to the event will get a lunch pack which includes food and a drink available in the cafe at the end of the experience. We will have the cafe area set aside for Brainwave families to enjoy lunch and activities once they have finished in the Aquarium. Please feel free to bring extra food or snacks.

• Can volunteers or Brainwave staff help supervise my children?

  No, you are responsible for your children at all times.

• Will there be any organised activities?

  We will have the Brainwave Hub set up in The cafe from 12pm where we will have a number of activities for some relaxation and connection and we strongly encourage you some and visit us there during the day.

• Is Sealife wheelchair accessible?

  The aquarium is full accessible throughout.

• What do I do if I can no longer attend the family day?

  Please let LeighAnn Nolan, Services Manager, know as soon as possible via email on leighann.nolan@brainwave.org.au.
