Australian Operation Christmas Child Processing Centre - 2026

Thank you for your interest in volunteering in our Australian Processing Centre.  Every shoebox gift that is donated needs to be carefully inspected, and we couldn't do this part of the process without the help of volunteers like you.  You play a vital part in the journey of a shoebox to a child in need.

This year's Operation Christmas Child Australian Processing Centre will be located at Goulburn Street, Kings Park and will be open from Friday 23rd October.

With over 200,000 shoebox gifts expected to go through the Australian Processing Centre we need many volunteers to assist with inspecting and preparing shoebox gifts to be sent to children overseas.  Will you join us?

To reserve a spot for yourself and/or your group - click 'Get Tickets'.

When you click 'Get Tickets' you will see current days and times of available sessions to choose from.  At this stage we have opened up all sessions until the end of November. Should processing be required beyond the end of November, further session times will be opened up as we near December.

Once you have selected your session and completed your registration you will receive an email confirmation with your tickets attached.

Please note:  For safety reasons, all volunteers in our Processing Centre need to be high school age or older.  High school aged volunteers under the age of 18 must attend with a parent, guardian or supervisor. Operation Christmas Child requires one supervisor for every 5 high school aged youth.

For further information about volunteering in our Processing Centre please check out our Processing Centre FAQ's.
