    Event description

Join Halve Waste for a free tour of the Albury Waste Management Centre these school holidays.

Have you ever wondered what happens to your waste when it leaves the kerb? Do you want to know more about how recycling works in the local Halve Waste area?

A Halve Waste education officer will take you on a 1.5 hour tour of the Albury Waste Management Centre to show how materials from local households and businesses are processed. This tour provides a behind-the-scenes look at the centre's award-winning waste management programs and explains why it’s important to know what goes in your bins. After the site tour, participants are invited to join us for a recycling session to discover what we recycle, why we recycle and where our recycling goes.

Pick up is from the Lavington Library/Griffith Rd (bus stop) at 10am and return to the library will be at approximately 12pm.

Enclosed footwear is required for the tour and bookings are essential. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
