NSW Term 4 - Educator Professional Development
Description
What to Expect on the Day
We’ve designed this workshop around one of the most vital aspects of education: relationships. Throughout the day, we’ll guide you through a series of engaging activities, insightful discussions, and practical tools that will focus on:
Gaining a clearer understanding of what’s happening for adolescent boys today, and the key factors shaping their behaviour and wellbeing.
Recognising the importance of strong relationships as a preventative and protective factor in supporting boys’ wellbeing and development.
Learning practical strategies to build stronger relationships with the boys you work with.
Creating a realistic plan for next steps to apply in your school context.
You’ll work alongside educators from other schools and some of The Man Cave’s team. Together, we’ll share knowledge, stories, and experiences in what promises to be a fabulous experience.
Please note, to gain optimal outcomes for you and your school, we ask that at least 2 educators from your school attend.
