NSW PACIFIC AWARDS 2026
Description
NSW Pacific Awards 2026
The NSW Pacific Awards are a major annual celebration recognising the achievements, leadership, service and contributions of Pacific people across New South Wales. Hosted by the NSW Council for Pacific Communities, the awards bring together community members, cultural leaders, government representatives, businesses, organisations and supporters for a special evening of recognition and celebration.
The awards honour outstanding individuals, volunteers, workers, young people, community leaders, sporting representatives, cultural groups and organisations that have made a positive difference. Nominees are recognised across a range of categories, highlighting achievements in community service, culture, sport, business, leadership, employment, health, education and advocacy.
The evening is also a vibrant celebration of Pacific identity and culture. Guests can enjoy traditional performances, music, dance, entertainment and the opportunity to connect with people from communities across Polynesia, Melanesia and Micronesia.
More than an awards ceremony, the event provides an opportunity to celebrate the people whose hard work, generosity and commitment often take place quietly behind the scenes. It shines a light on the individuals and organisations helping Pacific communities grow stronger, remain connected and create greater opportunities for future generations.
The NSW Pacific Awards welcome people from all backgrounds to attend, support the nominees and share in an evening of culture, community and achievement. It is a chance to come together, celebrate success and recognise the important contribution Pacific people make throughout New South Wales.
