Welcome to the NTGE Championships 2024 Ft. Tekken 8 competition. As NTGE focuses on bringing high-caliber esports to our community, Tekken 8 players will engage in intense, skillful battles, culminating in a grand showcase of martial arts mastery at the Grand Finals.

Registration Details for Tekken 8

Entry Requirements:

Early Bird Pricing: $30 per player, with registrations due by the 20th of April.
Standard Pricing: $40 per player, with the final registration deadline on the 30th of April.
Grand Final Attendance: Eligibility for the Grand Final may require attending a live event in Darwin, NT, with details announced later in the season
Competition Format: Players will compete in Monthly Ranked Battles, accumulating points based on their placements:
- 1st place: 5 points
- 2nd place: 4 points
- 3rd place: 3 points
- 4th place: 2 points
- 5th place and beyond: 1 point each
Grand Final: The season culminates in a Top 4 Double Elimination Bracket, determining the ultimate Tekken 8 champion.
No Rank Restrictions: The competition is open to players of all skill levels, ensuring a diverse and inclusive battlefield.

Schedule

NTEC Schedule will be established as soon as a Division is confirmed. The Division Manager will advise the relevant players early May 2024. To stay up to date regarding the final Schedule, please join the NTGE Discord and reach out to your Division Manager at the earliest.

Division Management for Tekken 8

Division Manager: Sai J (Discord: DemonCalvier) is appointed as the Division Manager for Tekken 8. Sai J is the primary contact for participants for anything from inquiries to support throughout the season.

Dispute Resolution: In the event of any disputes or if you require escalation beyond the Division Manager, David Moore (Discord @nexttierdmoore) is available for direct contact at 0406 427 197. This ensures that all participants have access to a fair and responsive resolution process.

This dedicated team ensures the smooth progression of the competition, from scheduling to resolving any challenges, maintaining a fair and engaging experience for all fighters.

NTEC 2024 Prize Pool & Recognition for Tekken 8

The competition's prize structure is designed to reward the exceptional skill and dedication of Tekken 8 warriors:

Regular Season Prizes: A total of $200 is distributed over the regular season, recognizing outstanding performance.
Grand Final Prizes:
- 1st Place: $350, along with the prestigious Team Gold NTEC trophy, medals, and certificates.
- 2nd Place: $150, plus medals and certificates.
Trophies & Medals: Trophies and medals awarded, celebrating the champions of the season.

Contributions from the NTFGC are included in this prize pool.

Enhancing the Prize Pool

Contributions from the community, sponsorships, and during-event donations are encouraged to enrich the prize pool, increasing the stakes and excitement throughout the Tekken 8 season.
