Network Teach has partnered with EDMed® to deliver a free, one hour professional development session for teachers designed to create an awareness of the educational needs of students with chronic illness. It aims to provide educators with some useful tools to accommodate for the physical, cognitive, social and emotional needs of these students

Planning for the return of a student who has suffered a serious physical illness or injury can present challenges for teaching staff. EDMed® provides a range of educational strategies and information to assist in the smooth transition and integration back to school. This module is proudly being delivered online to provide greater accessibility to teachers across Western Australia.

Why are tickets to this event free?

This event is not designed to make a profit. As a not for profit organisation, we simply seek to provide high quality access to education based Professional learning opportunities. We have also heavily subsidised this event in thanks to our sponsors who contribute to the overall event costs.
