Community Forums

The North Texas Disability Chamber presents its first Community Forum in partnership with Best Buddies. Our community forums provide an opportunity for elected officials, nonprofits, business leaders, and members of the disability community to discuss, share, and learn about local and regional issues from an advocacy perspective. 

Special thanks to the Communities Foundation of Texas for granting the North Texas Disability Chamber the Equity Grant to support such programs.

The North Texas Disability Chamber is a community-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting a more cohesive, transparent, informed, regional, member-based, cross-disability community via events and education hosted at accessible locations across North Texas.

Best Buddies is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, inclusive living, and family support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
