Description

The NUAA Peers and Consumers Forum returns in 2026 for its 9th annual event. The PaC Forum is a chance for all peoples with lived and living experience of drug use to come together, share stories and learn from each other.

PaC 2026 explores how lived and living experience (LLE) is central to shaping the systems that shape us. At the heart of this work is storytelling, how we name our experiences, share our LLE, and influence the environment.

As peers increasingly move into leadership, advocacy, clinical, legal, and policy spaces, we will reflect on how storytelling becomes a tool for shaping culture, informing practice, and shifting power. Our diverse peer identities strengthen our collective voice and deepen our capacity to drive meaningful change.

This year invites open and courageous conversations about what it means to be a peer in a time of growth and evolution. Grounded in respect and shared purpose, PaC 2026 celebrates the strength of our peer community and the transformative power we hold and shape together.

PaC Forum 2026 features:

  1.  Peer-led Panels and Discussions: Hear from experts, story tellers, and change makers about current AOD issues. With two days of concurrent sessions you can be certain to find a presentation suited to your interests.

  2. Service Showcase: Visit the exhibition floor to learn more about the services provided by NUAA, forum sponsors and partner organisations.

  3. Onsite NSP: NUAA NSP team members will be on hand to provide harm reduction advice, and NSP equipment.

  4. Harm Reduction Up Close: Watch as experts demystify harm reduction though easy to follow live demonstrations.

  5. Photobooth and Art Gallery: Stop by the pop-up Boomgate Gallery exhibiting artwork from people in custody or snap a selfie in the always popular PaC Forum photobooth.
