***Kindly note that this walk has been designed to promote fitness and will require a moderate level of fitness to finish. We will walk at times with a brisk pace completing 10 kilometres in slightly over two hours. There will be some inclines, soft sand and steps. We will only spend a short time on the sand. We suggest that you carefully review all event information and ensure that you can keep up with the group. Number 16 Beach is absolutely stunning and even better looking at dusk. We will be walking on the spectacular coastal track. I have meticulously mapped out this hike to give you the wow factor and awesome photo opportunities. If you're looking for some fitness to improve your health then the coastal track will give you that. If you're looking for incredible views in great company with like minded people, please join us. WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE WALK:

- Sandy patches of ground

- Some inclines

- Possible stairs

- Uneven ground

- No toilet

WHAT TO BRING:

- Water

- Snack. Ie: Banana, high protein snack, Jam sandwich.

- Electrolyte energy drink

- Insect repellant

WHAT TO WEAR:

- A good pair of walking shoes is necessary, which could be hiking shoes or boots. It is recommended to avoid jogging runners as they may not provide enough grip, although it is not a strict requirement. No open toe shoes.

- Decent socks. Ie: a mix of wool, nylon & elastane. Non bulky (Visit hiking stores)

- Compact jacket

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

This walk is NOT suitable for children (18+), babies in carriers or for people who do not walk more than 5km’s at a time. This is a National Park, therefore no dogs or animals allowed.
