Nundle Rocks 2026
Event description
Nundle Rocks is ready to roll for 2026!
40mins east of Tamworth, escape the long weekend mayhem and head to the quaint village of Nundle, with it's beautiful cafes, pub, clubs, caravan park, swimming pool, funky stores and mountainous gold mining history... Ohh, and beautifully air conditioned Memorial Arts Hall, hosting loads of great live music across three days, programmed by Dashville.
The three day line-up features over 25 acts, both prestigious and prodigal alt-country, folk and roots acts including all the way from the USA, acclaimed folk, Americana songwriter Tim Easton and the Arizona Queen of Honky Tonk Brea Burns. We are pleased to welcome Australian folk country music royalty Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, along with top end troubadour JB Paterson, bluegrass bandits and AFMA winners The High St Drifters, legend of the delta blues Col Ray Price, indigenous storyteller Warren Mason, and let’s not forgo Dashville favourites Dank Hank, Johnston City, Magpie Diaries, Dave Wells, Georgie Winchester, Kingsley James and CJ Stranger to name a good few.
The line up also includes the return of popular local super group, the aptly called Nundle Nugget Hunters who will close out the Sunday night in what has become a traditional raucous finale to a beautiful weekend of music and community.
Nundle Rocks has a vibrant history in the Nundle area, and last year’s event was evident that it's worth its wait in gold. So here we are back at it in 2026, with another amazing cast of live music put together by the Dashville community.
All shows held at the Nundle Memorial Hall are ticketed and BYO, with some food available for purchase. Generally commencing from midday Friday, Saturday and Sunday and running until late, Nundle welcomes music enthusiasts into town for a special weekend of alternative country music at the central Nundle School of Arts Memorial Hall.
The full line up is as follows
Tim Easton (USA) | Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham | J B Paterson | Johnston City | Max Marvell | Dank Hank & The Hot Ones | Magpie Diaries | Brea Burns (USA) | Dave Wells | Charlotte Le Lievre | Col Ray Price | CJ Stranger | Huckleberry & The Devils Dandruff | Georgie Winchester | Kingsley James & The Forest Keepers | The High St Drifters | T.C. Now in its 4th year, the revamped Nundle Rocks concert series, orchestrated by the good folk at Dashville, rekindles the glory of the original concept of Nundle Rocks, which emerged over a decade ago, as a desirable haven for alternative country music fans looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Peel St.
In 2026, as this idyllic mountain village grows in its embrace of this wholesome event, it’s safe to say various other activities will pop up around the town throughout this period, making it the perfect destination for a magical musical weekend away up in the cooler mountains of Kamilaroi country.
Limited to 200 tickets daily and are now on sale.
