Nunga Screen 2024 - Full Program
Event description
UniSA invite you to join us for a special evening of First Nations short films at Nunga Screen 2024, proudly presented by Country Arts SA with support from the South Australia Film Corporation. Nunga Screen shares stories of love, friendship, healing country practices, of belonging, community, culture, and above all the strength and connection of First Nations peoples to their land and culture.
The screening will be hosted by Ngarrindjeri man Josh Trevorrow, Country Arts SA, First Nations Arts & Cultural Manager, and Filmmaker. He will facilitate a Q&A session after the conclusion of the short films, joined by a few of the film makers. The 2024 Nunga Screen program is available here.
Film is one of the most powerful mediums to share stories across generations and we invite you to sit, listen and connect with one of Earth’s longest living cultures; and celebrate strong, independent First Nations filmmakers during NAIDOC WEEK.
All ticket proceeds will go to Literacy for Life.
We look forward to sharing this evening with you. Finger food and light refreshments will be served.
Refunds: No refunds will be given less than 48hrs prior to the event commencing.
If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you do not attend this event.
