Event description

Welcome - to deep reconnection with your breath, your body, your stance, and the intuitive felt rhythms of your dynamic human presence.

Nurobodi Qi Gong is a somatic and energetic training for contemporary life. Rooted in ancient Taoist and Buddhist traditions, this 6-week series is designed to support nervous system balance, embodied awareness, and subtle energetic attunement. Each session offers a gentle, progressive unfolding - combining breath, movement, standing and dynamic meditation, all guided by experienced teachings and instructions on inner listening.

It’s a deeply held space of transformation - a cumulative training for those ready to deepen their connection with Qi, with your own bio-rhythms, with the interior subtle body and its colours.

Each 90-minute session is accessible to all bodies and levels of experience. Whether this is your first encounter with Qi Gong or a return to practice, you’re welcome.

What are others saying?

“I came from a place of much discomfort and found each practice to beautifully capture and allow thoughts, and beliefs to calm down. I feel grateful for Cy's training that allowed me to repeat and become familiar with the practice. Each time I felt more grounded and gently energetic afterward. Perhaps a little different the next day and better to do it more and more, gently, across the weeks and months. I had feared moving my arms in such a way (due to arm weakness from injury), but Cy’s style helped me learn to smile into the experience. Starting to explore Nurobodi sound approaches helped me to release tension in other ways. Personally, I feel much stronger and more grounded since working with Cy. Thank you very much Cy”

FAQs

Do I need experience with Qi Gong or movement?
Not at all. The course is open-level and designed to meet you where you are. All movements are adaptable and accessible. Presence matters more than precision.

What should I bring?
Comfortable clothing, a water bottle, and an open attention. We mostly practice standing; no mat required.

Why is the digital course included in the Deep Practice Pack?
To help you build a relationship with the work over time — not just in class, but at home, in your own rhythm. It’s there to revisit whenever you need, and to anchor what you’ve experienced each week.

I already purchased the digital course — what are my options?
Thank you. You’ve helped build this offering. If you’d now like to join the in-person series, email us at qigong@nurobodi.com and we’ll arrange something personally for you.

First session: Tuesday 5th August @ 6:00pm-7:30pm, then weekly Tuesdays 6pm-730pm (Aug 5th-Sept 9th)
