Outrigger Canoeing: For those seeking an adventure on the water, outrigger canoeing provides an opportunity to build teamwork skills while enjoying the stunning Sunshine Coast waterways.
Buskers from Eumundi School of Music: The festival will be alive with music, thanks to talented young buskers from the Eumundi School of Music, showcasing the rich musical talent within our community.
Panels and Local Speakers: In addition to the activities, Nurture Festival 2024 will feature a series of insightful panels and talks from local speakers. These sessions will cover a range of topics aimed at empowering teens & parents with tools for mental wellness, resilience, and self-expression. Partnership with Mooloolaba Rotary Club: The Mooloolaba Rotary Club’s collaboration is a key highlight of the festival, bringing the community together to raise awareness for mental health. 'Lift the Lid' walk symbolises hope and support for community, aligning perfectly with the Nurture Festival’s mission to nurture the mental wellbeing of our youth.

A fun-fuelled festival celebrating and supporting young people!

The banks of Lake Kawana are set to come alive on Saturday 5 October 2024 with a festival like no other. Bring the family, organise the crew or maybe just rock up on your own. This festival is about connecting with likeminded people and feeling the support of your community. Every day is an opportunity to try something new and we are super keen to see as many faces enjoying the day as possible.

Nurture Festival is back, and this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with an array of activities and community partnerships designed to foster youth mental wellness. This FREE event is taking place on Saturday, October 5, 2024, on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, the festival is proud to announce its collaboration with the Mooloolaba Rotary Club, who will be presenting their renowned 'Lift the Lid' walk later that month.
