Mishana Yoga’s Mary DiMeglio is bringing her beautiful collection of instruments to Philadelphia Nurture Collaborative's sweet space in East Falls for the first time! Welcome the summer season feeling refreshed. This is fully accessible to all bodies -- just lay back and receive.

Mary was trained and certified by the International Academy of Sound Healing, and will create this experience using medical healing grade Tibetan brass singing bowls handmade in India, a Uranus planetary gong, buffalo drum, chimes, rain stick and more. This is a “sound massage” — if you choose, the bowls will be placed directly on your body!

Find inner peace as we calm the mind and body with sacred sounds. Scientific research shows the frequency of sound waves lowers anxiety and blood pressure. Lay back as these frequencies massage you on a cellular level, washing away stress, pain and energetic blocks. As you sink into theta brainwave state, the body and mind heals itself.

We begin with some gentle stretching and guided breath and body scan relaxation meditation to prepare you to fully receive the vibrations.

Philadelphia Nurture Collaborative is a community for new and expanding families to gather, learn, adapt, and grow along their unique journeys. This sound bath is the first in a new monthly series of wellness offerings, and is open to everyone.
