Event description

Nurture Your Body and Mind - Yin Yoga and Sound Healing

We, Rose and Harshani, welcome you to soak in the many benefits of combining yin yoga and sound healing.

You can move from a place of feeling tired, overwhelmed, stressed, unmotivated, sleeping badly to having more energy, feeling grounded and centered, feeling positive and much, much more.

We will release tension stored in the

  • chest
  • shoulders
  • spine
  • hips

through yin yoga and sound.

Learning to actively let go through breathwork, meditation and relaxation may give you following benefits: You may

  • feel stronger and more secure
  • experience a new sense of freedom
  • be able to use your energy to work on the goals and dreams that make you happy
  • be more aware of the present moment.

The sessions start with yin yoga to the steady, rhythmical heartbeat of the medicine drum, which assists you to drop further into the poses, flows from savasana to the medicine drum sound healing, enabling positive energetic shifts to take place on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels, to closing the session with sharing of a yummy snack and chat.

Why we fuse Yin Yoga and Sound Healing?

Yin Yoga is a passive practice, involving deep stretches held for an average of 3-5 minutes, benefitting the largest tissue structure in the body, the connective tissue, ligaments, bones, joints and the deep fascia networks rather than the muscles. The degree of success of your Yin Yoga practice is equal to your ability to let go of any tension in your body and mind.

For most of us it is challenging to stop doing and just be. This is where the beat of the medicine drum will come into play. Your focus will be on the medicine drum until your heartbeat and breath fall in line rhythmically with the drum. This allows you to let go more and more and drop and relax deeper into the poses.

No previous yoga or meditation practice required.
