This event has passed Register

Event description

Neurodiversity plays a crucial role in shaping the fabric of our early learning environments. It encompasses the recognition and acceptance of diverse neurological abilities and challenges among individuals, emphasising the uniqueness and value that each child brings to the learning environment. This workshop provides an opportunity to delve into understanding neurodiverse learners, unravelling the unique strengths they bring to your educational context. It aims to empower early childhood kaiako with knowledge and strategies to understand better and respond effectively to neurodiverse children within their settings.

This workshop will:

  • guide educators and caregivers in providing tailored support
  • foster an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity
  • recognise different needs and implement effective strategies
  • create nurturing spaces where neurodiverse learners can thrive.

Let's champion inclusivity and empower one another as we share our strategies and ideas to positively impact every child's learning journey.
