Why Early Dietetic Intervention Can Change the Health Journey

Dr Brooke Harcourt will explore the difference early, individualised dietetic intervention can make for people living with disability and complex nutrition needs.

From food and oral nutrition supplements through to enteral feeding, Brooke will discuss the importance of recognising nutrition challenges early and ensuring people have access to nutrition that meets their individual needs, abilities and circumstances.

COMMUNITY SHOWCASE | 12:15pm–1:30pm

Following the keynote, explore a hands-on showcase of specialised nutrition formulas, oral nutrition supplements, enteral feeding products, supplies and equipment from leading suppliers.

Clinical experts from Surgical House’s supporting supplier sponsors will be available throughout the showcase to demonstrate products, answer questions and help attendees better understand the different options available in community nutrition and enteral feeding.

This event is open to people living with disability, older Australians, families, carers, support workers, support coordinators, dietitians, nurses, allied health professionals and anyone interested in learning more about specialised nutrition and enteral feeding.

Light refreshments will be available for self-service throughout the event.
